Potrero Nuevo Farm

As a class, we went to go help a few farmers in Half Moon Bay. We were able to pull out potatoes from the ground, cut dried lavenders and tie them in a bunch and also play with Bear. I had really fun today helping everyone and I also think that our whole class was able to work together and get to know each other better. By the end of the day of sweating and some labor we all came back in one piece. We had a great experience outside of school and were able to spend some time in the nature. One thing that stood out to me today was that I loved how Jay and his wife were considerate of keeping snacks and water out for the bicyclist. Overall, todays field trip was a very eye opening experience for me and I would probably do it again. (:
